It is not up to the Editor to decide where content should appear. Therefore abcOnline does not show you a structure of the whole website, like a sitemap, and lets you pick and choose where you want to write the content.

Instead, abcOnline asks you to consider if what you are writing is a text that should appear on the page for a longer time (like an article), or a time-specific text (like a news story).

If what you are writing is a news story, you choose the category: are you reporting on a product update or is it related to the latest changes in your organisation? You pick the category that suits your story - and that you have access to write about.

Once the story is written and publishes, abcOnline will automatically distribute it to its correct location - based on the structure that the website has: it appears among the top stories on the homepage, under the product section - and, if your website is so defined it can appear as RSS, in the Newsletter and even on appear on other website in your network.
